WHAT ARE THE NEW CHANGES TO STUDY PERMIT?

Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL). Commencing from January 22, 2024, most
international students would need a PAL from either the province or territory where they
intend to study. This is to avoid a rejection of your application.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR A STUDY PERMIT?

 They must be enrolled in a Designated Learning Institution
 Must be financial capable of paying for their tuition fees, his living expenses
(and those of family members) and capable of paying for return a flight
 Must be law abiding and obtain a police certificate

Prospective students should apply online except they can prove that they either have a
disability, are stateless or refugees. The approximate processing time is around 13
weeks.

WHAT IS COMPLETENESS CHECK?

This is the process where the processing officer ascertains whether all the required
documents have been included in the study visa application. In some cases, incomplete
applications can be rejected. If the application is approved, the student will be issued a
study permit and a letter of introduction.
